CONTRACT TERMS
Purchase and use of illustrations from Hansson Illustration
1. Reservation of rights
All rights not expressly granted in the contract are retained by the Illustrator, including any electronic rights or usage and including, but not limited to, all rights in sketches, comps or other preliminary materials. Unless otherwise stated, Client buys the right to publish the illustration(s) one (1) time. Any use additional to that expressly granted in the contract requires arrangement for payment of a separate fee.
2. Revisions
Illustrator submits X rough(s) and X sketch(es) for Client's approval. Additional fees will be charged to Client for revisions made after such sketches and for all revisions that reflect a new direction to the assignment or new conceptual input. Client agrees to pay the Illustrator an additional fee of € .... per hour for changes requested to final art that exceeds previous approvals. No charges for changes to bring final artwork up to original specifications or assignment description.
3. Cancellation and Kill Fees
Cancellation (“kill”) fees are due based on the amount of work completed. 50% of the final fee is due within 15 days of notification that for any reason the job is cancelled or postponed before the final stage. 100% of the total fee is due despite cancellation or postponement of the job if the art has been completed. Upon cancellation or kill, all rights to the art revert to the Illustrator.
4. Credit line
A credit line suitable to the page design will be used: Illustration: ATLE HANSSON.
5. Payment
Payment for finished work is due upon acceptance, net 15 days. Client's right to use the work is conditioned upon receipt of payment within 15 days of acceptance and upon Client's compliance with the terms of this agreement. A 1,5 % monthly charge will be billed against late payment.
6. Re-distribution and Trust
Re-distribution of the work for use by third parties without permission from the Illustrator is forbidden. By keeping an electronic copy of the image file after the production
date Client certifies that it will not be misused by anyone not aware of this Agreement.
7. Changes to Image File
No changes to the image file, such as cropping or re-touching, other than basic color corrections to comply with Client's color profile standards, will be tolerated.
8. Responsibilities
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Illustrator harmless against any and all claims, costs and expenses, including attorney's fees, resulting from the publication of the artwork. The editor of the publication assumes the sole responsibility upon publishing the illustration.
9. Miscellaneous
This Agreement shall be binding upon the parties, their heirs, successors, assigns and personal representatives. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding of the parties. Its terms can be modified only by an instrument in writing signed by both parties. Any dispute regarding this Agreement shall be arbitrated in Bergen, Norway, under the rules of Norwegian law.

These terms and conditions apply
to your purchase of products from the Hansson Illustration WebShop.
Unused and unopened items may
be returned in its original packagin (at your own expense) within 14 days from delivery. You will receive
a full refund, minus PayPal's transaction fee.
We take great care to provide
precise information about our products, but the photos we present are non-contractual.
Hansson Illustration can not be held responsible for errors in prices or informations
in the WebShop.
You may cancel your order and ask for a refund at any moment before it has been
shipped. Only PayPal's transaction fee will be witheld.
Items you order are for your personal
use only, and you agree not to resell any of the items. If you have ordered a product
which is out of stock, we will contact you within 48 hours and keep you informed
when you can expect delivery.
Prices:
All prices are in Euros. The U.S. Dollar equivalent is given for
information purposes only and might not correspond to the actual
exchange rate at the moment of purchase. Prices include 25% sales tax
from Norway. Additional taxes may apply in your country depending on
local rules and regulations.
Payment:
Payment must be received before the item can be shipped. Payment for
the products will be made on PayPal.com's secure server, by credit card
or PayPal account. Both the WebShop and Paypal will confirm your
order/payment. Hansson Illustration don't have any access to your
credit card information.
Shipping:
Shipping and handling are additional and at your cost. Hansson
Illustration can not be held responsible for any damage during
shipping. Keep the packaging for proof and file a complaint to your
Postal Service. In case of a lost item, we will file a complaint to our
shipper. Please notify us within 48 hours from delivery if any part of
your purchase is missing, wrong or damaged. Hansson Illustration will
not be held responsible for delivery failure due to any erroneous
adress information you provide during online purchase. All items will
be shipped from France.
Protection of Personal
Data.
Your email address and any other information you provide during the
checkout process at the WebShop will be held confidential and will only
be used to process your order. Your email address will be included on
our mailing list (approximatively 4 mailings per year), and if you
don't wish to receive these emails, let us know and you will be deleted
from the list. Your web browser has to accept cookies in order for the
shopping cart to work. Cookies are used for the sole purpose of
remembering your language preferences and your shopping cart contents.
